Montel Williams and Money Mutual

Montel Williams and his partnership with MoneyMutual

Montel Williams is a renowned and easily identifiable TV personality, actor and radio talk show host.  Perhaps his most famous TV show was The Montel Williams Show which ran from 1991 to 2008.  It was a popular talk show during that time and it won a Daytime Emmy Award as well as being nominated for other awards.  From 2009 – 2010 Montel hosted the Montel Across America radio show.

Montel was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 3, 1956.  When he graduated from high school in 1974 he enlisted in the Marine Corps and was later accepted to the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis.  In 1980 he graduated with a degree in general engineering and a minor in International Security Affairs.  Shortly after graduating he suffered a reaction to an immunization which hospitalized him and caused blindness in his left eye.  After a partial recovery he served as a naval intelligence officer, specializing in foreign languages.  Montel is proficient in languages including Mandarin Chinese.  During this time he discovered his public speaking skills and eventually he gave up his military commission after achieving the rank of lieutenant.  While serving in the military he received the Navy Achievement Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the Navy Commendation Medal.  His public speaking career lasted three year during which his main focus was on educating youth about leadership and showing this as the path to success in life.  This speaking career was the launching pad of the development of The Montel Williams Show.  Montel also entered the acting profession starring in TV shows and off-Broadway plays including JAG, All My Children and Touched by an Angel.

Montel Williams as Money Mutual spokesmanMontel supports three major organizations.  He is a spokesperson for the Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA).  The PPA helps low-income patients apply for free or reduced-priced prescription drugs. He is the founder of the Montel Williams MS Foundation , a non-profit organization with a focus on research and education.  He started this after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis during the 1990s.  As a proud vet Montel supports The Fisher House Foundation which makes free housing available to them so that the families of wounded soldiers can be near their hospitals.

Montel Williams also endorses Money Mutual a service which he hopes helps individuals and their families to get more out of life.   In certain financial situations people need money for emergencies.  Often they find themselves in situations where they are having trouble paying unexpected bills and that a cash advance can help them out in the short term.  Money Mutual’s online network can help individuals to find short term cash loans from trusted sources.
