Why we do what we do

We do this because 4 in 10 Americans would not be able to come up with $400 in an emergency¹, and almost everyone has a hard time making ends meet at some point. We feel a duty to provide individuals with a resource they can use to find solutions to the financial challenges life can bring and a responsibility to elevate best practices and education in the short-term lending industry.

Our history

In 2010, we recognized a need. A large percentage of Americans regularly need loans to help cover the challenges that everyday life throws at us, but choosing a lender can be confusing, time consuming and even frustrating. In response to that, MoneyMutual developed our online marketplace which offers simple, quick and secure access to lenders—for free. This means you can now go to one place, fill out our simple and secure form, and potentially find a lender.
